North Richmond was originally known as Enfield the name was later changed to North Richmond because it was north of Richmond Hill, This hill was named by Governor Philip when traveling up the Hawkesbury river in1789.North Richmond is a mixture of rural and residential properties with an approx. population of 4600 residents.
